Lantronix terminal servers communicate using network protocols TCP/IP, IPX or LAT (for IP they use ARP, UDP, TCP, SNMP, and TFTP). Data transmission speed is from 300 bits to 38.4 Kbps. Lantronix devices uses own operating system developed by Lantronix company. Communication can be encrypted by 128-bit key.
